Kiera is an actress, model, singer, and entrepreneur. She first gained attention through her modeling career in New York, where she appeared in the pages of high fashion magazines. She has been in various ad campaigns and went on to star in a number of movies. In 2018 Kiera created the Chaplin Awards in Asia, which was received with huge success. One of Kiera’s biggest passion is empowering women and sustainability.

A universal, timeless message

I sometimes wonder what my grandfather, Charlie Chaplin, would think of the world today. What movies he would make and how he would make us laugh and cry about today’s social injustices.

A universal, timeless message

It certainly would be interesting to have his point of view given the world’s recent shift. However, I feel that his universal message is so true and timeless that his underlining message would be the same, just different circumstances.

So we need to be caring to one another and make the most of our time together, and always remember that "a day without laughter is a day wasted".

Love and kindness

Now more than ever we have evolved into the new humanity. We have been reminded how love and kindness are the most essential things in life. How there is so many things that we do not know and cannot control, and how we are guests on this planet and that our luxuries can be taken away in a second. So we need to be caring to one another and make the most of our time together, and always remember that "a day without laughter is a day wasted".

People often ask me if it’s hard to be in the shadow of such a big name. My answer is always no. How lucky am I to have a man with such a great way of thinking and who pushed for laughter, love and compassion? I like to think of him as my guardian angel, but in reality he is everyone’s guardian angel. All we have to do is listen to the few but powerful words from his beloved Tramp.
