We demand of nature more than it can provide. If we continue at this pace, there will be 9.5 billion of us in 2050. Unless our consumption models change, we will need resources of three more planets like Earth to sustain us. We must reduce waste and promote a mindful use of our resources, one that embraces the whole production chain, from the producers to the consumers. Education and collaboration can help us do more and do better, using fewer resources.
