They must be able to express their ideas, and take part in the decision-making process that affects their family, their society and their country's economy. We must ensure, through both laws and concrete action, that women enjoy equal access to resources, to wealth left in inheritance and to land. All forms of violence, as well as any law or practice, that causes them to suffer mental or bodily harm must be abolished.
