The only way to create wealth, is by guaranteeing health
Chief Nat Ebo Nsarko, Country Director of the Ghanaian NGO Millennium Promise.
What I'm doing for 2030 is
promoting virtuous development models

My name is Chief Nat Ebo Nsarko. I am Country Director of the International NGO Millennium Promise Alliance in Ghana, One Million Community Health Workers (1mCHW) Campaign Ghana, a peace ambassador, Community Health Workers Field Specialist and a Development Communications expert. Through the initiatives of Millennium Promise and the 1mCHW Campaign, we are taking direct action in many African countries to eliminate conditions of extreme poverty and extending healthcare to the doorsteps of the rural poor and the vulnerable.

We promote a replicable virtuous rural development model that can drastically reduce diseases caused by weak systems and structures.

The model leverages modern technology and sustainably strengthens community capacity to ensure access to clean water, quality education, healthcare, improved seeds, fertilisers and efficient machinery for climate-smart agribusiness. The flagship 1mCHW Campaign is a unique programme leveraging on ICT with multiple dimensions of strengthening primary health care, building community capacities, addressing youth unemployment and rural-urban migration, saving lives and improving access to quality healthcare.

This gives communities real hope and opportunity for self-determination leading to improvement of their own living conditions. It is a commitment that we are taking forward every day in furtherance of Agenda 2030.
